Azul finds a new way to connect with travelers with Oracle Responsys

Azul, one of Brazil’s largest airlines, needed a way to stay closely connected with travelers during the pandemic while organizing customer data across passenger, loyalty, and cargo operations. To address this challenge, Azul chose Oracle Responsys Campaign Management to build more relevant, personalized digital communications and maintain customer relationships even when travel demand was down.

Using Oracle, Azul automated and personalized campaigns across channels, managed large volumes of customer data, and improved segmentation and agility. The results were strong: more than 60 campaigns reached millions of people, campaign communications generated 43% of revenue, conversion rates were up 3x versus broad-blast offers, and marketing campaign revenue doubled in 2020 compared with 2019.
