AT&T revamps its finance and planning processes with Oracle Cloud ERP and EPM

AT&T, one of the largest U.S. telecom providers, needed to simplify a finance and planning environment that had become crowded with legacy systems, heavy customizations, and duplicate processes. Its on-premises finance platform was making upgrades difficult and slowing access to data, so AT&T turned to Oracle Cloud ERP and Oracle Cloud EPM to support its broader move to the cloud.

Oracle helped AT&T migrate from Oracle E-Business Suite to Oracle Cloud ERP and EPM, creating a single integrated platform for finance operations and planning. As a result, AT&T reduced data silos and manual work, improved decision-making with a consolidated view of information, and sped up key processes; for example, customer contract generation dropped from 60 hours to under 30 hours. Oracle’s quarterly update cycle also removed the burden of complex upgrades and helped AT&T modernize more efficiently.
