Atlantic Lottery moves ERP to OCI to support digital growth and lower its costs

Atlantic Lottery Corporation, a Canada-based lottery operator expanding into online and digital games, faced growing data, reporting, and ERP demands that its on-premises Oracle E-Business Suite environment could no longer support. As the company prepared to launch its iCasino offering, it needed a more stable, secure, and scalable platform to keep pace with digital growth and rising costs.

Oracle, working with Deloitte, helped Atlantic Lottery migrate its ERP applications and related databases to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). The move delivered C$6 million to C$7 million in savings, cut new environment setup time from four to five months to less than a day, improved performance and flexibility, and strengthened security.
