AskStory supports global expansion at a lower cost with Oracle

AskStory is an AI software company that embeds AI into lifestyle and IoT products (air conditioners, TVs, remotes) to improve customers’ quality of life. To support global expansion it needed a centralized development environment, easier access to large datasets (user patterns) and a stable, scalable infrastructure for data crawling, mining and distributed machine learning that could handle sudden spikes in traffic.

By migrating six legacy servers to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (Compute Classic and Object Storage Classic), AskStory gained rapid provisioning for complex AI applications, centralized data access and fine-grained control over resources and network traffic. The move reduced server load and IT costs via elastic scaling, accelerated new product development, and enabled reliable storage and processing of large datasets to support global growth.
