Asahi Refining, a Salt Lake City–based precious metals refiner within Asahi Holdings, needed to replace a decades‑old, manually intensive ERP inherited from its former parent company. The legacy system limited financial visibility, slowed reporting, and required significant IT effort, preventing the team from focusing on its core business of refining gold and silver.

Working with Oracle partner 6e Technologies, Asahi moved to Oracle Financials Cloud, Purchasing Cloud and Self‑Service Procurement, integrating legacy metal and payroll systems via Oracle Java and Database Cloud Services in under 15 weeks. The cloud implementation delivered real‑time financial reporting, shortened month‑end close from about a week to three days, standardized reporting and procurement, improved receivables processing, lowered TCO, and provided a secure, scalable platform for future integrations.
