ArRiyadh Development Authority Gains Efficiency and Rapidly Adapts to Change Using a Unified Content Repository with Centralized Access

ArRiyadh Development Authority (ADA), the agency responsible for Riyadh’s socioeconomic and urban development, needed to modernize internal operations—automate paper-based HR processes (like vacation requests), integrate inventory with procurement, and enable rapid adaptation of workflows—while building on its existing Oracle WebCenter investment that already managed 25 TB of urban-planning data.

By implementing Oracle Application Development Framework, Business Process Management, WebCenter Portal and Content (with partner P Systems), ADA created a unified content repository and single, secure portal for applications and documents. The solution automated HR and procurement workflows, cut development time and costs, improved response times and workflow efficiency for 400 employees, and increased staff productivity through seamless information sharing.
