Arena One is a full-service hospitality provider operating 24 locations in Germany and serving millions of guests annually, including as the exclusive caterer for Munich’s Allianz Arena. At its Business Campus Munich canteen, where up to 2,000 lunch guests arrive, Arena One needed a reliable, high-speed POS and cashless payment system (including a reloadable card and company-badge payment option), plus centralized real-time financial reporting and a scalable solution to manage multiple canteens.
Arena One deployed Oracle Hospitality Simphony with Oracle MICROS Workstation 5A and Oracle Hospitality Reporting and Analytics, enabling seven checkouts with no downtime since 2013. The new system cut checkout times by 60% (to 10–15 seconds), replaced cash with a flexible reloadable card, delivered web-based financial and staff-performance reporting, ensured accurate month-end billing and employer contributions, and provided a scalable platform to manage canteens across Germany.
