ArcelorMittal adds steel to its HR practices with Oracle Cloud

ArcelorMittal, the world's largest steelmaker with about 200,000 employees and operations in 60 countries, needed to modernize its HR capabilities as it digitized global operations. A patchwork of outdated recruiting, training, and performance-review tools gave little visibility into workforce skills and made it hard to reskill and redeploy talent across its industrial footprint.

ArcelorMittal implemented Oracle Cloud HCM—covering recruiting, onboarding, learning, performance, succession, and workforce planning—with Accenture as service integrator. The end-to-end cloud system delivered a single branded careers site, faster e-recruiting (1,000 applications in Poland in the first six weeks), streamlined manager workflows, and far lower user training time, enabling the company to hire and develop the right people more efficiently.
