Ancar Ivanhoe Enhances Its Complex Budgeting with Oracle EPM Cloud

Ancar Ivanhoe, a Rio de Janeiro–based mall management company founded in 1970 that now operates 22 malls in Brazil, faced a complex, decentralized budgeting process spanning rental, condominium, marketing and other departmental worksheets. The company needed to replace error-prone spreadsheets with a more robust platform that preserved the familiar spreadsheet layout, tracked all worksheet changes, and allowed easy retrieval of prior budget versions.

Ancar Ivanhoe deployed Oracle Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (EPM Cloud), rolling it out to all 22 malls with four weeks of user training and meeting the 2018 budget deadline. The solution standardized procedures, integrated mall budgets into the back office, retained the spreadsheet interface to minimize training, and added version tracking—resulting in improved reliability and accuracy, reduced rework, and harmonized budgeting across the organization.
