American Fence Company Increases Recruiting Efficiency with Oracle HCM Cloud

American Fence Company, a nationally recognized fence installer founded in 1948 and headquartered in Phoenix with about 270 employees, needed to modernize HR to support growth and meet government‑contractor compliance requirements such as OFCCP and affirmative‑action reporting. The company sought to improve recruiting, onboarding, performance and talent management, and replace manually intensive, paper‑based processes that hindered hiring efficiency.

American Fence implemented Oracle HCM Cloud—including Recruiting, Onboarding, and Performance Review Cloud Services—to automate hiring and onboarding, centralize processes across 18 locations, and leverage out‑of‑the‑box reports for EEO/OFCCP compliance. The cloud solution broadened sourcing (Indeed, Craigslist, Monster), produced actionable recruiting and management reports, supported hiring some 60 new employees over two years, transformed performance reviews into a strategic tool, and delivered scalable, integrable HR infrastructure to sustain continued growth.
