Aliaxis, the global pipeline manufacturing and distribution company, needed to modernize and standardize its logistics operations across 11 Latin American countries. It had been relying on manual, paper-based, and spreadsheet processes to plan routes, calculate capacity and tolls, and document deliveries, making it difficult to capture reliable shipping data. Aliaxis chose Oracle Transportation Management after evaluating 30 solutions.

Oracle implemented Transportation Management in six months to automate route planning and delivery documentation, while supporting Aliaxis’s unique shipping requirements and third-party logistics model. With Oracle, Aliaxis cut planning time for 150 orders from about 2 hours to 15 minutes, increased vehicle occupancy by nearly 2 percentage points, and achieved 4% freight cost savings. It also improved shipping transparency and execution to 99.9% and raised required data accuracy and completeness from 70% to 100%, while reducing warehouse overtime.
