Alcar Ruote SA, a Swiss manufacturer of steel wheels and part of the Alcar Group, needed a faster, more flexible supply chain to keep up with rapidly changing automotive designs and to control high Swiss labor costs. Its legacy on‑premises ERP and supply‑chain systems were reaching capacity, so the company prioritized a state‑of‑the‑art, fully integrated cloud solution to provide real‑time data for planning and order management.

Alcar moved to Oracle Cloud SCM and Oracle Cloud ERP, using Oracle Cloud Order Management to automate order‑to‑fill processes and share forecasts, orders, and shipments with partners and mobile staff.
