Preview of the Al Babtain Group Case Study

Al Babtain Group unifies diversified business operations with OCI

Al Babtain Group, one of Kuwait’s largest family-owned trading companies, needed a better way to report and analyze finance and sales data across its diverse businesses, which included retail, investment, and food and beverage. With many applications and technologies from multiple vendors, the company struggled to standardize operations at the group level. Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Oracle Fusion Cloud applications were selected to help solve these challenges.

Oracle implemented Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM, and Oracle Cloud for Retail on OCI, with data centralized on Oracle Autonomous Transaction Processing and OCI Integration services connecting 15 third-party applications. As a result, Al Babtain Group now has a unified platform that standardizes finance, supply chain, and retail operations, improving system availability, security, and scalability for growth.
