Agricultores Federados Argentinos S.C.L. (AFA) is Argentina’s largest agricultural cooperative, serving 36,000 associated farmers with more than 1,700 full‑time and 1,000 temporary employees across 130+ locations. AFA faced fragmented, manual HR and payroll processes and needed to centralize employee data, improve payroll access for staff, and strengthen data availability, reliability, and security.

Working with Oracle and partner Enratio, AFA implemented PeopleSoft Human Resources and PeopleSoft Global Payroll (Local Argentina) in a 17‑month project to automate HR processes and consolidate employee records. The solution eliminated spreadsheet-based payroll entry, increased data integrity and confidentiality, and introduced a self-service payroll portal that allows 1,700 employees to view and print pay stubs before payment—streamlining operations and improving access to compensation information.
