ACTSIS adopts a new business model by migrating to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure

ACTSIS, a Colombia-based provider of IT solutions for utility companies in the energy sector, wanted to expand into serving small and medium-sized businesses. To do that, it needed a cloud service to support applications and databases, and it selected Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) to help enable this new business model.

Using Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Oracle helped ACTSIS host and manage customer solutions without added costs, while reducing the need for customers to run their own data centers. The migration expanded ACTSIS’s service portfolio and target market, and led to a 5% increase in monthly product billing.
