Abu Dhabi Systems & Information Centre Empowers E-Government by Integrating and Consolidating Systems and Applications Across Agencies

Abu Dhabi Systems & Information Centre (ADSIC) oversees Abu Dhabi’s IT agenda and e‑government program. Facing the need to improve public administration performance, increase transparency, and let citizens complete tasks like vehicle and business registrations or school enrollment online, ADSIC needed to integrate disparate systems across agencies and deliver a unified, secure digital government experience.

Working with Oracle and local partners, ADSIC deployed Oracle WebCenter Portal and Content, WebLogic, SOA Suite (including Oracle Service Bus), and Oracle Database with Real Application Clusters to consolidate applications and integrate heterogeneous systems. The portal now delivers 50+ e‑services, more than 3,000 information pages and 7,000 documents under a single sign‑on, supports 24/7 access for over 400,000 users, strengthens security and failover, encourages public engagement, and reduces infrastructure and operational costs.
