Abu Dhabi Judicial Department Improves Criminal-Prosecution Case Management by Integrating Its Criminal Justice System Technology

Abu Dhabi Judicial Department (ADJD), the emirate’s judicial authority, needed to modernize and automate its criminal‑prosecution lifecycle to meet international standards of fairness and efficiency. The challenge was to automate more than 30 core processes—case initiation through judgment—ensure due‑process workflows and secure document handling between law enforcement and courts, deliver real‑time analytics for decision‑makers, and provide integrated electronic and mobile access for citizens and staff.

ADJD built a Public Prosecution System (PPS) on Oracle Siebel Case Management with Siebel Enterprise Integration Manager and Oracle BI to deliver an integrated, real‑time case‑management platform. The rollout automated workflows and near‑real‑time referrals, integrated document management, and exposed 24/7 e‑ and mobile services, improving case throughput, reducing paper and data‑transfer times, and giving managers configurable BI dashboards and mobile reports for faster, more transparent decision‑making.
