Rapid user and transaction growth created challenges: slow data processing for online transactions, long daily batch-load delays that hampered timely decision-making, limited storage efficiency for analytics, and a need for real-time data synchronization between the enterprise data warehouse and marketing systems to respond quickly to changing customer preferences.
By deploying Oracle Exadata and Oracle GoldenGate and migrating the enterprise data warehouse without changing applications, 11ST cut daily batch loads from nine hours to two (4.5x faster), accelerated transaction processing, and enabled real-time data replication for marketing. The solution improved analytics and campaign personalization, increased storage efficiency (up to 5x via query- and archive-compression), reduced IT costs, removed scalability bottlenecks, and boosted customer satisfaction and business opportunities.
