Korek Telecom Supports Rapid Growth and Business Agility with up to 10x Faster Management Reporting

Korek Telecom, the fastest-growing mobile operator in Iraq, needed faster and more accurate business intelligence to support rapid expansion, improve competitiveness, and scale its IT infrastructure for about 1 million new subscribers each year. The company also wanted timely KPI reporting, better data quality and security, and stronger operational efficiency across marketing, sales, and finance, using Oracle Exadata and related Oracle analytics tools.

Oracle Exadata implemented Oracle Communications Data Model, Oracle Data Integrator, and Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition on two Exadata Database Machines, enabling Korek Telecom to unify data from more than a dozen sources and over 40 streams. The results were significant: monthly reporting processing time fell by 70%, daily reporting by 90%, database query time dropped threefold, and backups ran twice as fast. Oracle Exadata also helped Korek Telecom grow its customer base by 300% in less than five years, reaching 7 million subscribers and supporting continued growth.
