All Nippon Airways Increases New Bookings with Oracle Engineered Systems

All Nippon Airways, Japan’s largest full-service airline, needed to modernize its international booking system and connect Amadeus Altéa with multiple internal applications while handling rising booking volumes and maintaining stable operations. To support growth, the airline turned to Oracle Exadata for a high-performance, reliable database platform that could share real-time data with partner airlines and improve customer service.

Oracle Exadata helped All Nippon Airways build an integrated service platform with Oracle SOA Suite, Oracle B2B for EDI, and Oracle Data Integrator, enabling seamless data transfers and faster processing of booking transactions. The result was higher new international bookings, system capacity expanded to 300,000 daily transactions, support for 30 transactions per second, and up to 250,000 real-time daily data exchanges, while also simplifying management and improving operational stability.
