Advania Produces Business Reports 70% Faster and Improves Employee Productivity

Advania, a leading Nordic IT services company based in Reykjavik, Iceland, needed to upgrade its ERP suite, replace an outdated database, and consolidate its hardware platform to improve resilience, availability, performance, and support. The company also wanted a single supplier for its IT environment, and turned to Oracle Exadata/Oracle technology, including Oracle SuperCluster and Oracle Database, to help meet those goals.

Oracle Exadata and Oracle’s engineered systems helped Advania upgrade to Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12.1.3 and move to a more stable, secure platform. The result was 60% to 70% faster financial reporting, better end-user productivity, improved system reliability, faster software development and testing, and lower future operating costs through a simpler, single-vendor IT setup.
