Turner & Townsend, a UK-based real estate program manager, needed a better way to manage a large, complex portfolio with many projects and stakeholders. They struggled to get one clear view of the program, produce accurate up-to-date reporting, and track due dates across thousands of deliverables. Using Oracle Construction and Engineering’s Aconex, Turner & Townsend created a configurable platform and common data environment across the program, with reporting and placeholder-based tracking to monitor progress and due dates. The results included £200M in potential secured income, discovery of 80,000 square meters of vacant space valued at £80M–£120M, a 75% faster CAD plan review and approval process, 95% faster board reporting, and 16 hours saved each week on lease turnover change management.
