SICIM Expedites Oil and Gas Pipeline and Plant Construction with Consolidated Planning

SICIM, a global engineering, procurement, and construction company for the oil and gas industry, needed an ERP system that could unify purchasing, finance, inventory, and project management as it expanded from 4 to 20 international branches. Working with Oracle Construction and Engineering, SICIM sought better visibility and standardized processes to support large pipeline and plant construction projects delivered on time and on budget.

Oracle Construction and Engineering implemented a cloud-based solution powered by JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, hosted by partner Atlantic Technologies, to consolidate planning and finance across SICIM’s subsidiaries. The new platform reduced spreadsheet-based reconciliations, cut monthly financial closing to minutes, improved purchasing efficiency by helping eliminate duplicate orders, minimized inventory waste, and supported multicurrency, multilingual, and IFRS-compliant reporting.
