A Oracle Construction and Engineering Case Study
SATCO, a Saudi Arabian trading and construction company with 3,500 employees, needed to unify its manually managed HR processes across multiple business units and improve workforce planning for current and future engineering and construction projects. With Oracle Construction and Engineering’s Oracle Human Capital Management (HCM) Cloud, SATCO wanted a single view of employee skills, availability, costs, and compliance records, while reducing HR process time and improving payroll and project costing.
Oracle Construction and Engineering implemented Oracle HCM Cloud as a unified platform, along with Oracle Global Payroll Cloud Service, Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence, Oracle Java Cloud Service, and Oracle Database Cloud Service. As a result, SATCO streamlined HR service delivery for 3,500 employees, automated payroll and reporting, improved project costing and manpower management, reduced manual work and approval times, and strengthened compliance with labor regulations through automated alerts for expiring passports and permits.
