A Oracle Construction and Engineering Case Study

Preview of the Kolos Cement Case Study

Kolos Cement Boosts Efficiency and Agility with a Unified Oracle Cloud

Kolos Cement, one of Mauritius’s largest cement manufacturers, needed a modern ERP platform to replace an end-of-life system and improve visibility, agility, financial controls, and end-to-end processes from production to sales and delivery. Working with Oracle Construction and Engineering, the company sought better reporting, tighter credit management, and integration with its weighbridge system and mobile devices.

Oracle Construction and Engineering implemented a unified Oracle Cloud Platform, including Oracle Financials Cloud, Oracle Order Management Cloud Service, Oracle Purchasing Cloud Service, Oracle Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service, and other ERP/SCM tools. The solution streamlined production, sales, finance, and distribution for 25 users, reduced manual work and errors, improved credit and account controls, and gave managers real-time visibility into sales and stock. Kolos Cement now receives daily sales figures, has better alignment between production and orders, and expects month-end closing to drop from five days to three, while also meeting truck dispatch and on-time delivery targets more effectively.
