Case Study: Ferrovial improves secure user management and mobile access with Oracle Construction and Engineering

A Oracle Construction and Engineering Case Study

Preview of the Ferrovial Case Study

Ferrovial Improves User Management Monitoring, Efficiency, and Response Quality and Provides Secure Mobile Access to Corporate Applications

Ferrovial, one of Spain’s leading infrastructure and services operators, needed to simplify user management and authentication for more than 14,000 internal and external users while meeting strict corporate security standards. Working with Oracle Construction and Engineering, the company looked to Oracle Identity Manager and Oracle Access Manager to centralize access controls, standardize identity management, and enable secure mobile access to corporate applications.

Oracle Construction and Engineering implemented Oracle Identity Manager and Oracle Access Manager with support from HP, consolidating multiple identity repositories into a single system and automating registration and deregistration workflows. As a result, Ferrovial reduced administrative effort and response times, improved user experience, enabled secure web and mobile access, and added an SMS-based password reset service that boosted efficiency for password incidents.
