A Oracle Construction and Engineering Case Study
Dayton Superior, a concrete construction supplies company with 30 locations across multiple countries, needed a more resilient and cost-effective WAN. Its MPLS network with primary and backup T1 circuits was expensive, underused, and prone to disruptive failovers that caused voice calls and application sessions to drop. To solve this, Dayton Superior worked with Oracle Construction and Engineering using Talari SD-WAN technology.
Oracle Construction and Engineering implemented Talari SD-WAN and Talari Aware to improve uptime, bandwidth utilization, and visibility across the WAN. The company was able to use backup circuits full time, add lower-cost broadband links, and support ShoreTel voice and VDI with better reliability. Dayton Superior reported a 3:1 return on investment and avoided about $1 million in MPLS spending over three years, while also simplifying WAN management and troubleshooting.
