Oracle Construction and Engineering implemented configurable Aconex workflows to streamline processes from design through operations, improve correspondence and contract management, and speed information sharing across project teams. The results were significant: a 30-step correspondence process was reduced to 7 steps, saving 48 person hours per month, Community Forum administration dropped from 40% of a full-time role to 10%, and key approvals and contract processes became faster and easier, with some reviews taking only about 5 minutes.
