CIMIC Group Takes Project Collaboration to Aconex

CIMIC, one of the largest contractor groups in Australia and Asia, needed a better way to manage large, complex infrastructure and construction projects spread across multiple countries. The company faced challenges around consistent workflows, document version control, correspondence tracking, and maintaining auditability for compliance and dispute avoidance. Oracle Construction and Engineering, through Aconex cloud collaboration services, was selected to support these needs.

Oracle Construction and Engineering implemented the Aconex platform for CIMIC Group projects in eight countries and transitioned existing work from the INCITE Keystone collaboration platform. The solution incorporated process functionality for large infrastructure projects and brought in the INCITE Keystone team and intellectual property to support the rollout. As a result, CIMIC gained a more transparent, accountable collaboration environment, while Oracle Construction and Engineering strengthened its market leadership and expanded long-term value across both organizations.
