China State Construction Saves Over US$1M on Safety Records and Improves Safety by 15%

China State Construction Engineering Corporation used Oracle Construction and Engineering, specifically Oracle Aconex, to support the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor’s Multan to Peshawar Motorway project in Pakistan. The company faced major challenges around project-wide document and model control, cross-organizational reviews and approvals, data security, and managing disputes while maintaining fast access to status and reporting.

Oracle Construction and Engineering implemented a centralized platform for sharing and retrieving project information, improving data flow, and providing configurable workflows plus BIM collaboration across the project. As a result, China State Construction Engineering Corporation reported estimated savings of US$320,000 on design reviews, US$1.2 million on safety records, US$360,000 on RFI management, and a contingency reduction from 10% to 6%, along with a 15% improvement in safety.
