China Road and Bridge Moves OBOR Pakistan Motorway Forward with Aconex

China Road and Bridge Corporation was working on the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor’s KKH Thakot-Havelian Motorway section in Pakistan, a large cross-border infrastructure project with many organizations involved. The company needed help managing massive amounts of project information, keeping document versions accurate through repeated review cycles and scope changes, maintaining efficient approvals, and enabling mobile access for field teams. Oracle Construction and Engineering, using Aconex, was brought in to address these challenges.

Oracle Construction and Engineering implemented Aconex as a central platform for documents, drawings, correspondence, workflows, and field inspections. The solution improved version control, streamlined configurable workflows and approvals, and gave field staff mobile access through Aconex Field. As a result, China Road and Bridge saved significant time on accessing, transmitting, and tracking project information, reduced miscommunications and rework risk, accelerated approval cycles, and cut inspection time to support more inspections and issue capture.
