A Oracle Construction and Engineering Case Study

Preview of the Atrium European Real Estate Case Study

Atrium European Real Estate Reconciles Financial Close Data from Seven Countries Faster and Maximizes Revenue and Profitability

Atrium European Real Estate, a leading owner, operator, and developer of shopping centers across seven Central and Eastern European countries, needed a better way to manage leases, billing, financial close data, and property performance across a multilingual, multinational organization. The company worked with Oracle Construction and Engineering, using JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Real Estate Management and Oracle Hyperion Enterprise to replace fragmented Excel- and Navision-based processes and improve control over a US$3.15 billion portfolio.

Oracle Construction and Engineering implemented a single-instance JD Edwards platform for real estate management and financials, along with Hyperion for faster period-close reporting and analysis. The result was lower administration costs, faster reconciliation of close data, improved billing and rent review processes, and better visibility into income, costs, and yields; in Poland alone, Atrium cut the time to produce financial data for Hyperion uploads by 50%, while gaining a scalable foundation for rollout across the remaining countries.
