Ancar Ivanhoe Enhances Its Complex Budgeting with Oracle EPM Cloud

Ancar Ivanhoe, a mall management company based in Rio de Janeiro, needed to replace its error-prone spreadsheet budgeting process with a more robust platform. The company also wanted to track worksheet changes and previous versions across a complex planning environment spanning 22 malls, while still keeping the familiar spreadsheet-style interface. Oracle Construction and Engineering, using Oracle Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service and Oracle EPM Cloud, was selected to address these needs.

Oracle Construction and Engineering implemented a budgeting solution that standardized procedures across all 22 malls, improved tracking of worksheet updates, and integrated budgeting into Ancar Ivanhoe’s back office. The new platform eliminated the need to recreate budgets from scratch after major changes, improved reliability, and helped ensure more accurate budget assessments across the company. The rollout was completed in time for the 2018 budgeting cycle, and 350 employees received four weeks of training.
