Aconex Puts Huge Transportation Project on Fast Track

RTD FasTracks, a major Denver-area road and rail transportation program, faced the challenge of coordinating more than 3,000 project members across 150 organizations while managing millions of documents and dozens of projects on a public, multi-billion-dollar initiative. Oracle Construction and Engineering provided the Aconex platform to help control project information and keep the large portfolio on track.

Using Oracle Construction and Engineering’s Aconex solution, RTD FasTracks centralized collaboration, automated review and approval workflows, and improved document version control and auditability across the program. The result was more than 2.3 million documents stored in the system, timely document approvals, and US$116 million saved through cost reductions, productivity gains, schedule acceleration, dispute avoidance, and reduced rework.
