Lambeth Council, the governing body of a large London borough, faced substantial budget cuts and needed to cut costs while improving efficiencies. The council sought to simplify its disconnected finance, procurement, and HR systems to eliminate data silos and support remote work. To address this, they turned to Oracle Cloud and implemented its ERP, EPM, and HCM applications.

By adopting Oracle Cloud's integrated suite, Lambeth Council automated its financial processes and introduced intuitive self-service tools. The results were significant, including a 45% reduction in manual journal entries, a 19% reduction in suppliers, and a 55% improvement in performance reporting. The solution from Oracle also enabled a reduction in office space from 14 buildings to just 2, dramatically cutting overhead costs.
