Mazda Motor Logistics Europe, the European distributor for Mazda, needed to modernize its IT infrastructure and exit its data centers while keeping its VMware and database environments operating with minimal change. To do that, it turned to Oracle Cloud HCM and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, including Oracle Cloud VMware Solution and Oracle Exadata Database Service.

Oracle Cloud HCM helped Mazda Motor Logistics Europe lift and shift its virtual machines and databases to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure with little disruption, preserving the way its teams managed environments on-premises. The company moved 85% of its IT to OCI, closed two data centers, consolidated critical applications and 80 Exadata database environments, and improved agility, responsiveness, productivity, and compliance while maintaining high performance and availability.
