KPN fulfills its digital ambitions with Oracle Cloud Applications

KPN, the largest telecom carrier in the Netherlands, faced the challenge of modernizing its internal processes to become more digital and data-driven. In its highly competitive market, the company needed to simplify operations, improve decision-making, and reduce costs. To address this, KPN chose to replace its outdated on-premise systems with Oracle Cloud HCM, ERP, and SCM applications from vendor Oracle.

Oracle's solution provided a single, integrated cloud platform, which was implemented with the help of partners Deloitte and Oracle Consulting. The results included the elimination of roughly half of the company's previous integrations, greatly improving data visibility and consistency. KPN also achieved more granular visibility into spending and inventory, automated procurement to cut costs, and now efficiently manages 25,000 daily order lines. Oracle's technology was the key enabler of KPN's successful business transformation.
