Generali accelerates HR data-driven culture with Oracle Cloud

Generali, one of the world’s largest insurance companies, needed a better way to manage HR data across more than 50 countries and reduce the manual, error-prone monthly reporting work handled by its HR teams. Using Oracle Cloud HCM data alongside Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse and Oracle Analytics, the company set out to build a more automated, data-driven HR culture and improve decision-making across the organization.

Oracle implemented a solution based on Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse, Oracle Analytics, and OCI Functions to integrate HR data from multiple sources, streamline reporting, and support scalable analytics. The result was a one-stop shop for HR analysis, executive dashboards for strategic KPIs, and faster reporting response times of under 2 seconds, while also freeing HR staff to focus on higher-value work and reducing costs through autoscaling.
