Adventist Health standardizes processes to support growth

Adventist Health, a California-based not-for-profit healthcare provider, needed to standardize finance and HR processes as it grew to 30,000 employees, 23 hospitals, and 250 clinics. With dozens of different ways of handling basic tasks across the organization, the company turned to Oracle Cloud HCM along with other Oracle Cloud applications to create a more unified operating model and better support future growth.

Oracle implemented Oracle Cloud ERP, EPM, and HCM, plus analytics and data warehouse capabilities, to help Adventist Health standardize processes, speed up acquisitions, and improve operational control. The results included consolidating roughly 600 different payroll methods, updating descriptions for 395,000 inventory items, and cutting the annual budget planning cycle in half, while also improving data processing and security and reducing costs with Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse.
