WSP Canada (formerly GENIVAR) led a redevelopment program to redesign, renovate and upgrade 600 restaurants for a globally branded chain in Eastern Canada. The multi‑organization project—owner, project manager, designers and suppliers—struggled with fragmented document management via FTP and email, creating risks around data structure, project control, audit trails, searchability, on‑demand information and a definitive owner archive.

WSP deployed Oracle Aconex, a secure web‑based platform to centralize access, distribution, tracking and archiving across all 600 projects, backed by training and unlimited support. The implementation delivered improved efficiency and project‑wide visibility, a permanent audit trail and complete owner archive, and fast, easy search and retrieval of drawings, documents and correspondence.
