To achieve this, they selected Oracle Aconex's Oracle Exadata Database Service on Oracle AI Database@Google Cloud to migrate their systems and handle massive transaction volumes.

The solution implemented by Oracle provided Worldline with a high-performance, scalable, and secure database platform natively within Google Cloud. This allowed the company to handle demand spikes of up to 25 times the usual volume with the goal of authorizing transactions in under a second, while also benefiting from near-instant provisioning and improved agility during peak activity.
