VINCI Construction Grands Projets Advances Oncology Research with BIM and Aconex

VINCI Construction Grands Projets led the design of the National Research Oncology Center (NROC) in Astana, Kazakhstan, for an international client team spanning five countries. With designers and stakeholders dispersed across borders, languages and time zones, the project needed a single platform to share BIM information, control document versions, manage secure communications and coordinate workflows among teams with varying BIM maturity.

VINCI adopted Aconex’s cloud-based construction information and process management platform to centralize documents, automate version control and enable browser-based viewing and mark‑up of multidimensional models without authoring software. The result was seamless workflow and review cycles across locations, improved access and input to models, fewer miscommunications and rework, and time saved locating current and historical project data.
