ORACLE Aconex supported the SWD Block Fortuna (Lausward) power project in Düsseldorf — a US$551 million, 600 MW combined-cycle plant with advanced efficiency goals. The large, complex project involved numerous external stakeholders with varying access rights and required a robust, professional process- and document-control solution, plus structured procedures for checking supplier submissions and clear, interactive communications across teams.

Aconex delivered real‑time access to updated project documentation, role-based retrieval of plans, communications and approvals, industry-standard process templates for document checks, and consistent drawing-code labeling. As a result, all plans are managed centrally and routed for review and approval, participants receive automated change notifications, the risk of building from outdated plans is virtually eliminated, and the project’s web-based management practices have been adopted for future large-scale projects.
