A Oracle Aconex Case Study
Oracle Aconex supported the US$188 million Lagares Sewage Biofiltration Plant in Vigo, Spain—an expansion to create Spain’s largest biofiltration sewage treatment facility serving 800,000 people. The project was technically complex with multiple stakeholders who needed to manage their own internal processes while collaborating as a single team; seamless information flow during the design-to-construction handover was critical and there was no budget for delays or rework.
Aconex provided a neutral, cloud-based platform for managing documents, drawings, correspondence and workflows with anytime, anywhere access and strict version tracking. This centralized approach reduced risk and rework, shortened review and approval cycles, ensured consistent processes and information across organizations, and improved overall project return on investment.
