Aconex supported the New Zealand International Convention Centre (NZICC), a 32,500 m², 3,150‑capacity convention centre in Auckland (including a five‑star hotel and retail laneway). The project involved 140 organizations and 500 users, producing large volumes of documents and correspondence that overwhelmed email and basic file‑sharing tools, made it hard to find current information, and complicated final handover.

Aconex provided project‑wide document control, structured communications, powerful search and remote access, and progressively compiled digital operation and maintenance manuals. This enabled efficient collaboration without ad hoc file systems or emails, fast retrieval of current and prior document versions, rapid team adoption, and a smooth contractor‑to‑owner handover that improves long‑term asset management.
