Oracle Aconex supported the US$1.9 billion Canterbury Earthquake Recovery program in Christchurch, New Zealand, helping repair more than 180,000 properties after devastating earthquakes. The project faced urgent timelines, a massive volume of claims, documents and correspondence, and a critical need for secure, reliable information management and strict tracking of commitments and deliverables.
Aconex delivered a secure, central cloud platform with document version control, automated review and approval workflows, and a full audit trail. This enabled the team to manage 530,000 claims, cut printing and paper use, lower administrative costs for document handling, and improve overall efficiency, accountability and transparency across the recovery program.
