Macmahon takes the high road with Aconex

Macmahon delivered the Reid Highway Extension in Perth—a 2.6 km, four‑lane dual carriageway including a 220‑metre bridge, major intersections, an underpass and several smaller bridges. The project involved many stakeholders and a large, multi‑organization team; reliance on paper and manual processes risked miscommunication, delays and disputes.

Using Oracle Aconex, Macmahon centralized project information, implemented version‑controlled document management, secure communications with alerts, and on‑demand reporting. This improved coordination across organisations, kept teams working from the latest drawings to avoid rework, sped up review and approval cycles, and created an audit trail to resolve disputes.
