Kuwait takes the high Road on Aconex

Oracle Aconex supported the US$2.6 billion Sheikh Jaber Al‑Ahmad Al‑Sabah Causeway project in Kuwait, a major international infrastructure program led by a Hyundai‑CGC consortium. The project team was dispersed across Kuwait, France, Egypt, Lebanon and the U.S., facing escalating daily transmittals (inspections, approvals, reports) and a labor‑intensive process for compiling O&M handover materials, which together strained visibility and control.

Aconex provided a neutral, project‑wide collaboration platform with automated workflows, standardized processes, RFI tracking and digital O&M manuals. The result was significantly improved project visibility and control, secure document sharing with fast search and retrieval, reduced manual record‑keeping, easier RFI management, and a streamlined compilation of drawings, reports, warranties and operating procedures for handover.
