A Oracle Aconex Case Study

Preview of the KPH Turcot Case Study

KPH Turcot saves 40,000 person hours over four years

KPH Turcot led the $1.15 billion rebuild of Montréal’s critical Turcot Interchange—a hub carrying more than 300,000 vehicles per day—and related highway sections. The complex program involved over 1,200 project team members, onboarding 100+ contractors across multiple disciplines, strict government regulatory and security requirements, and the need to maintain traffic flow and public safety during construction.

KPH Turcot implemented Oracle Aconex to give all stakeholders browser- and mobile-based access, consistent data and processes, and the security neutrality required by the ministère des Transports. The platform created a clear audit trail for communications and documents, sped searches with metadata, and streamlined reviews across 100+ subcontractors—allowing one document controller instead of five and saving 40,000 person hours over four years while avoiding contractual penalties and reducing errors.
