Oracle Aconex supported the CEZ Wind Farm, a US$1.5 billion, 600 MW onshore project in Dobrogea, Romania—the largest in Europe—managed by Continental Wind Partners for investor CEZ Group. The project’s scale created a complex information challenge: thousands of documents and communications to share, track and archive, a need for real‑time visibility of task status to meet schedule, and secure access to information from anywhere.

Aconex provided a centralized platform for document and correspondence management, automated review-and-approval workflows, a full audit trail of decisions and actions, and streamlined archiving. In the first project stage it managed 95,000+ documents and 196,000 communications, improved accountability, prevented information loss and disputes over outdated documents, and delivered time and cost savings through consistent processes.
